Overview #
Klyma is a vertically integrated ecosystem to redesign and build the carbon offset credit marketplace. It is an ERC-20 token and automated in the form of a smart contract on the Ethereum blockchain.
Phased Release #
Klyma functionality will be released in stages. Stages are designed, building upon each other, to ensure sufficient liquidity, market cap and userbase to facilitate full operability of all required mechanics. Klyma will be completely decentralized and begin with a supply of 100 Billion KLM. KLM is distributed among sacrifice participants.
Sacrifice Phase #
The sacrifice phase will last 60 days and begin on Jan 01, 2022. The initial rate of sacrifice will be 10,000KLM per $1.00 ETH sacrificed.
Sycamore Phase #
The Sycamore phase begins at the time of airdrop approx 20 days after the end of sacrifice. KLM will be released with a value of 0.00. (This prevents the airdrop from being a taxable event). This phase will provide functionality, including staking in time deposit certificates.
Once the staking percentage threshold is obtained- the sequoia phase will be released. Meeting the staking threshold will create the required balance between utility provided and available KLM to increase cause appreciation.
Holders who stake after the airdrop will receive a bonus modifier
Sequoia Phase #
With the prerequisite stake percentage achieved, Klyma will release the following functionality on all sides of the ecosystem. Release of the base infrastructure
